NO Bake PB & granola Toddler star bites

I am always trying to find easy ways to give my youngest healthy snacks. Even my older kids could use some good healthy on the go snacks! I searched around Pinterest and found so many great ideas, one of them being "No Bake Energy Balls". I thought it was perfect because it required little ingredients, all of which I already had in my kitchen!

Ingredients:

1 1/2 Cups of Granola OR baby oatmeal works too!

1/2 Cup of Peanut Butter

1 T of Honey

1 Gogurt/ or any 1 serving of yogurt

Optional : Sprinkles, chocolate chips etc.

First I take almost all of granola and blend it in the blender! That way it is more of a powdered consistency! Then I add it to a mixing bowl with the rest of the ingredients and mix it all together! If it is still too sticky, just add a handful of granola that isn't blended to help it thicken up!

Then instead of rolling them into balls, I decided to take a roller and roll out mixture on parchment paper and cut them out like cookies with a cookie cutter! That way I didn't have to worry about my toddler choking, and its more fun! lol

Then to make it more fun for my toddler, after rolling out the mixture, I added rainbow sprinkles to the top and pressed them down so they stuck!

Then I took a cute star cookie cutter and cut them out!

Once they are all cut out they wont be hard enough yet, Just place them in an air tight container and keep them in the fridge and Walaa!

Easy Peasy Toddler Snacks!

My toddler loves them, and it also creates a fun sensory game for them during snack time! My toddler loves to press down on them, squeeze them, and create his own shapes!
