MARBLE & PEPPERMINT DUST SUGAR COOKIES

This year I didn’t have time to make icing and cookies from scratch.. and to be honest, my kids don’t even know the difference so why go through all the trouble anyway! Lol

So it is SUPER EASY to make these marble candy cane and peppermint dust gingerbread cookies!

All you need is:

- Red and white Wilton cookie icing - Pillsbury cookie dough

- Crushed peppermint

- Toothpick

This is the icing I bought from Walmart!

After heating up the icing according to the directions, you pour a big amount of white icing in the middle of a plate, make sure it is big enough to cover your cookies, we made mini cookies so this was a small circle of icing. Then drop 1 drop of red icing in the middle!

Then take a toothpick and swirl around the red to your desired design!

Then all you do is place your cookie face down into the icing, and lift up.. set on a rack to dry! You can tilt the cookie around to swirl your design if need be! For the gingerbread you do the same thing with just white icing and then top with peppermint!
